Is Fireboy’s New Song “Eli” A Fire Jam or A Watery Song?
Fireboy has 2 songs this year and none is making the least wave, even Joeboy’s “Nobody” released many months ago is still on the hit radar.
No doubt, Fireboy‘s new song “Eli” fell short of all expectations as the YBNL Star didn’t live up to his hype on the song.
Music producer, Pheelz created a very sick beat as usual, but Fireboy‘s mediocre lyrics rendered the beat useless.
As a music lover or fan of Fireboy, you will notice he is trying to experiment with the sounds that he is not very used to.
Probably the pressure of Rema‘s movement in the music industry and Omah Lay‘s Fast growing fanbase is making “Fireboy” force a change of sound.
The follow-up songs after Love Laughter And Goosebumps album are not in any way close to what we got in his last two singles.
Fireboy needs to stay true to himself and stick to what works for him at this point.
It’s too early to see him drop something that is not a hit. Fireboy would do well if he had decided to drop a few tracks EP, then follow up with singles out of the songs on his Love Laughter And Goosebumps album instead of a 13 tracks with dry follow-ups.
“Eli” is just a watery song from Fireboy, he should do better.
Overall, we will rate the song 5/10.
