The music industry currently is just Wizkid, Davido, Olamide, Burna Boy, and then a bunch of new kids who keep bringing the heat.
Of all those guys, Buju and Oxlade happen to be two of the most sought-after singers. Everyone wants them on their tracks these days. And believe me, they do not disappoint. They haven’t even missed once. The talent and the skill are insane.
Buju, who came onto the scene doing hooks for Show Dem Camp, started gaining mainstream attention when his song with Zlatan Ibile, “Spiritual” became a mild hit.
In 2019, he joined Wizkid‘s O2 guest list and signed with Burna Boy‘s Spaceship outfit and has since been one of the hottest guys in the industry.
He’s been on songs with Blaqbonez, Amaarae, Show Dem Camp, Emo Grae, Burna Boy, 2baba, and has dropped two banging singles. Word on the street now is he’s gearing for his album release.
The most impressive of his works yet is probably “Feeling” with Ladipoe, which is currently one of the top songs in the country.
Oxlade, on the other hand, has also been here for quite a while. He gained attention when his song with Fireboy, “Sing” blew up in 2018. The year after, he also performed at Wizkid‘s concert at the O2 Arena in London.
He has released a number of hits including “Away” and “DKT.” His EP, “Oxygene” is one of the better releases of 2020 even.
His collaboration work is already impressive as he’s worked with Juls, given Ice Prince a hit, done songs with DJ Tunez and Spinall.
He recently just did a hook for M.I Abaga and is currently also working on his album. Certified hitmaker.
Now to the big question. What’s it gonna be? You have to feature one of them to make a hit song.
