The past few weeks, we’ve all been in conversations over what song deserves to get a Song of the Year nod.
Sure, there have been some solids. Songs that just absolutely have to be recognized. But one of the songs I feel people seem to forget is Mohbad’s
Perhaps because Mohbad is supposed to be a small-timer street artist and a Marlian with no profile. But he’s not a small-timer. Last December, that changed, when he hopped on a track with Rexxie and created “Ko Por Ke,” a viral hit.
With that in mind, Mohbad’s “Feel Good,” a song that became a hit when we had just a few of those, definitely is a worthy contender for Song of the Year, even alongside songs like Ruger’s “Bounce” and Olamide’s “Rock.”
Maybe if he’s in a category with those songs, he wouldn’t win, but the recognition will be at least well-deserved. Mohbad’s “Feel Good” is no doubt one of the best songs out this year.
Now we’d like to hear from you.
Do You Think Mohbad’s “Feel Good” Is A Worthy Song Of The Year Contender?
